Piccoline

Piccoline is the narrator and protagonist of the novel The Dwarf (Dvärgen) written by Swedish author Pär Lagerkvist, which details his life as court-dwarf to an Italian Prince during the Rennaissance.
A misanthrope and fundamentally evil character, Piccoline despises most of humanity, with some exceptions such as The Prince, whom he admires for his ruthlessness and deviousness.
