Nicholas Benedict

Nicholas Benedict is a genius with narcolepsy, a condition which causes him to fall asleep whenever he experiences strong emotion, especially laughter.

He is an important character in the Mysterious Benedict Society trilogy and the main character of the prequel The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict in which he appears as a 9 year old.
