Natolia (Marina Massironi)

Natolia is a well-known character played by actress Marina Massironi on the satirical television show *Mai dire Gol* during the 1990s. She would introduce the comedy segments of Aldo, Giovanni, and Giacomo—who were famous at the time for their sketches as mimes from Bratislava (also referred to as "the Bulgarians" or "the Tiranôs"). She spoke in a slow, somber, and droning tone, reminiscent of a funeral. While speaking, she was able to close one eyelid at a time. Her signature catchphrase was: "Let’s shiverrr... brrrrrrrr." She would introduce the mimes by concocting surreal definitions—for instance, claiming that a foreign-sounding name meant something absurd in Czechoslovak, such as "a lively and passionate woman" or "the idiot in the middle."
