Nana (Manga)

Nana (ナナ), also known as Number 7, is one of the main female characters in Elfen Lied. Nana is a very young Diclonius who has lived since she was born in the Kakuzawa laboratories, where strength training very similar to torture is experimented with. Unlike the others of her species, Nana does not have a sadistic character, but is peaceful and tender, especially due to the affectionate treatment that Director Kurama gives her, who even goes so far as to tell her that he is her father. In this way Nana has a special affection for him and feels total dependence on him. Nana is used to locate Lucy, as the Diclonius have the ability to detect each other. Unfortunately for Nana, what she finds gives her moral problems.
