Nadia Ramadan

Nadia Ramadan is a Syrian archaeologist and one of the main protagonists of the "Jack Hunter" trilogy, portrayed by Joanne Kelly. A U.S.-educated colleague of Jack Hunter, she initially approaches him with skepticism after he arrives in Syria while investigating his murdered mentor and the lost treasure of Ugarit. However, she eventually joins Jack and her driver Tariq on the dangerous search, using her knowledge of archaeology, ancient history, and the region to assist the group in deciphering clues and locating the artifacts they seek.

Throughout the trilogy, Nadia develops into a trusted and capable member of Jack's team, accompanying him through adventures in Syria, Egypt, and Turkey. Intelligent, determined, resourceful, and occasionally cautious compared with Jack's more impulsive nature, she repeatedly finds herself caught between rival treasure hunters, criminals, and those seeking the powerful ancient artifacts for their own purposes. By "The Star of Heaven", Nadia is firmly established as one of Jack's closest companions and an integral part of his efforts to prevent the ancient weapons and treasures from falling into the wrong hands.
