Michiko / A Samurai

Michiko is the protagonist of the Brazilian comic book The Samurai.

Japan, Edo Period (1573-1603). Time when the shoguns (military leaders) and daimyous (feudal lords) dominated territories, always very well guarded by their samurai. In a stratified and male-dominated society, Michiko decides to deny her destiny and becomes a warrior to fulfill her family's dream. Accompanied by Yamada, she will spare no effort or spare lives to achieve her goal - even if, for that, she has to give up her own life.
