Medioman

Medioman Locuratolo is a fictional character, inspired by Big Brother contestant Francesco Gaiardelli (nicknamed "Medioman" by Gialappa's Band), played by Fabio De Luigi and appearing in various editions of Mai dire... starting in 2001. This character, as the etymology of his name suggests, represents the classic average man who, in times of need, takes on the identity of an occasional superhero (in fact, his bourgeois name is Francesco Maria Gaiardelli). Despite his commitment to fighting for justice, the character only offers his services to two categories of women, who turn out to be widows (in early editions) and single (in later ones).

In the edition of Mai dire Lunedì featuring Neri Marcorè, he played Medioman's annoying archenemy, Puccio Bastianelli. The self-styled superhero often said to himself, "Damn you pain in the ass..." only to retract the insult once he noticed Bastianelli's offended reaction. In this edition, Medioman was also accompanied by his dog Mediodog.
