Marcy Regina Wu is a major supporting character in Amphibia, serving as a minor non-speaking character in the first season, and a main character in the second and third season. She is a 13, later 14-year-old Taiwanese-American[4] human girl who is childhood friends with Anne Boonchuy and Sasha Waybright, attending Saint James Middle School together.

On Anne's 13th birthday, Marcy read about the Calamity Box and its powers, and ended up discovering it after an argument with her parents over her refusal to move out of Los Angeles. When Anne opened the box, Marcy, Anne, and Sasha were teleported to Amphibia in separate locations. Marcy was warped within the walls of Newtopia and was promoted to Chief Ranger of the Newtopian Night Guard, where she worked directly for King Andrias of Amphibia. She represented the green gem of Wit on the Calamity Box. She made a deal with Andrias to give him the box with the reloaded gems for his plans to go to other worlds, in exchange for him taking her, Anne, and Sasha with him, without knowing the king's true intentions.
