Lucas Charles Sinclair, portrayed by Caleb McLaughlin, is a main character in Stranger Things, and the protagonist of the novel Stranger Things: Lucas on the Line.

Lucas is the best friend of Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, Will Byers, Eleven, and Max Mayfield, who is his girlfriend. Lucas is also the older brother of Erica Sinclair, a member of "the Party" and the Hellfire Club, and a former player for the Hawkins Tigers basketball team at Hawkins High.

During the events of Season 2, following Max's arrival at Hawkins, he developed feelings for her, eventually forming a special bond with her. At the end, he and his friends assisted as a distraction to burn the the Mind Flayer's external core for Eleven to close the Gate for good.
