Lop was a Force-sensitive Lepi female resident of the planet Tao during the Imperial Era. An orphan taken from another planet, Lop was an enslaved laborer for the Galactic Empire, which had occupied Tao. After escaping the Empire, Lop was adopted by Yasaburō of the powerful Yasaburō clan at the insistence of his daughter, Ochō.
