From Serial Experiments Lain anime, Lin Sui-Xi works for the above "Boss" in tracking down and assassinating most of the Knights of the Eastern Calculus. He is not told the true plan, but he knows that Masami Eiri is involved. He says that he "doesn't need a Wired God".
