Leslie Barbara Knope (/ˈnoʊp/ NOHP; born January 18, 1975) is the central character in the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation. She is portrayed by Amy Poehler. Poehler has garnered four Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, two Golden Globe Award nominations and a 2013 Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for her role.
