Krohnen McDougall (クローネン・マクドガル) is a character from The King of Fighters series. He was introduced in The King of Fighters XV as the leader of the team that bears his first name, as well as having a strong resemblance to a familiar character. His official nickname is "Exceptional Esper" (類稀たぐいまれなる超能ちょうのう).
Krohnen's appearance closely resembles that of K9999 and Nameless. Initially hinted at through PS4 datamining during the reveal of KOF XV, fans speculated that Krohnen might be a reintroduction of K9999, despite concerns surrounding the character’s legal issues. Many believed Krohnen was SNK's way of responding to fan demand for K9999's return, but without the elements that made his appearance legally problematic.
