John Henry Irons is the brother of an unnamed woman, the father of Natalie Lane Irons and the husband of the late Lois Lane. He is also a soldier inhabitant of Earth-TUD22 who has a vendetta against Superman, due to the latter's evil doppelgänger's actions, as well as Morgan Edge due to his counterpart's experiments with X-Kryptonite. He was nicknamed the Stranger by Earth-Prime Lois Lane and Luthor by his A.I. device. In his civilian identity on Earth-Prime, he used the alias of freelancing reporter Marcus Bridgewater.
