JD Fenix

Captain James Dominic Fenix, often called "JD" by his friends and squadmates, was a Gear soldier and the son of the legendary Marcus Fenix and Anya Stroud. He met Delmont Walker in boarding school in New Ephyra and joined the COG Army. After being ordered to use violence against protesting civilians in Settlement 2, JD and Del went AWOL and sought refuge among the Outsiders in Fort Umson. JD and Del then befriended Kait Diaz, daughter of Village Chief Reyna Diaz.[4] Unknown to his friends, it was JD himself who first ordered the DeeBees to fire, an act which deeply haunted him and led to his departure from the COG.
