Biography

Rounding out our list of the 10 sexiest fighting game characters is the beautiful and mesmerizing, Isabella “Ivy” Valentine. Making her first appearance in the hit game, Soulcalibur VI, Ivy is characterized as the daughter of a prominent aristocrat family living in England. Showered in both love and affection from an early age, Ivy’s happy life was soon destroyed by the unexpected death of her mother and father. Deeply grieved by this series of unfortunate events, Ivy decided to investigate her father’s background further, only to find that he had once worked as an alchemist and was totally obsessed with finding (and harnessing) the infamous Soul Edge for himself. Blaming the sword for her father’s descent into insanity (and eventual death), Ivy decides to forge a magic sword of her known (known as the “Ivy Blade”) in order to seek out and destroy the Soul Edge.

Powers and Abilities

When wielding her one-handed sword (which can also transform into a whip-like weapon at will), Ivy becomes an exceptionally strong and powerful figure within the Soulcalibur series. Capable of striking her opponents at both short and long-range distances (due to variable nature of her weapon), Ivy can easily overwhelm her enemies in battle, as her incorporation of both Western European sword tactics and Eastern European whip techniques are extremely deadly and unpredictable. Combined with her devastating Critical Edge attack, known as the “Guilty Throne,” Ivy is nearly unstoppable in head-to-head matches. As such, she is well-suited for more advanced players, as her offensive and defensive styles require an incredible amount of precision and practice to fully master.

Personality

Throughout the Soulcalibur series, Ivy Valentine is portrayed as an obsessive-compulsive individual (similar to that of her deceased father). This trait first manifested itself after the death of her parents, causing Ivy to embark on a course of vengeance. With this newfound focus, she will stop at nothing to achieve her goal, and will actively fight whoever gets in her way. It is also important to note that Ivy is an extremely domineering character in the game, and will actively tease or taunt individuals that she feels is unworthy. Such arrogance, however, often gets Ivy into serious predicaments that could have been avoided (altogether) had she exhibited greater patience and a humbler spirit.

Appearance

Regarding her overall beauty and charm, Ivy Valentine is an extremely hot and sexy character in the Soulcalibur series (and video games, in general), with only a few women capable of approaching (but never matching) her level of sex appeal. Although Ivy is renowned in the video game realm for her silvery-white hair, baby blue eyes, and strong facial features, she is also extraordinarily tall, with beautiful long legs, and an outrageously curvy body. Some of Ivy’s more exaggerated features are her massive breasts, thick rear, as well as her wide hips. Ivy is also regarded as a “showy” character in the series, as she tends to dress in extremely revealing attire. Typical outfits include thong-like bottoms and cleavage-bearing tops that showcase a great deal of her upper form. Taken together, it is clear that Ivy Valentine is a true head-turner in every conceivable way. For these reasons, she is certainly (without any shred of doubt) the sexiest fighting game character of all time.
