Irene Daniels

Almost nothing about Irene personally is revealed during her time on The Closer. One of her specialties is forensic accounting and finding evidence in other forms of documents. At times, she works with the Department of Homeland Security. In season 2, she started dating Gabriel and continued doing so until the beginning of season 4, when they started having problems and eventually broke up. Near the end of the season, when they were still arguing, Brenda was informed by Pope that she might lose one of her members to the LAPD's Criminal Investigation Department. Since Irene and Gabriel's personal difficulties made it impossible for them to work together, Provenza ordered one of them to apply for the position. In the end of Double Blind, Pope reveals to Gabriel that Irene has applied for the position.
