Groot II (Vin Diesel)

Groot is a flora colossus who sprouted on Xandar in 2014 from the remains of the original Groot, who sacrificed himself to save his friends, a mercenary group called the Guardians of the Galaxy. In loving memory of his father, the Guardians cared for Groot as they traveled the galaxy in their ship, the Milano. Over the course of their first few months together, he had grown into a small, able-bodied creature with great enthusiasm and an outgoing nature, albeit low intelligence, and limited speech patterns, being able to only speak the phrase "I am Groot" repeatedly, with different inflections to communicate.
