The Green Ranger is common character in Power Rangers & Super Sentai.
Most five person teams have green present, only occasionally swapping it out for a black instead - and once for a white. A team that does not have green in its core lineup may use the color for the Sixth Ranger instead.
Official Green Rangers have always been male until Ninninger's direct-to-video sequel in 2016, but a few ambiguous examples have been female prior including Suiren from Kakuranger (a villain with a darker/paler green), Mele/Camille from Gekiranger/Jungle Fury (a villain with an armored suit), and Kyoryu Cyan from Kyoryuger (cyan is literally a mixture of blue and green).
