Georges Batroc is a mercenary and pirate who used his skills to become one of Interpol's most wanted criminals. He was hired by Nick Fury in 2014 to hijack the Lemurian Star as a cover to uncover classified information regarding Project Insight. He was captured, extradited to Algiers and interrogated by S.H.I.E.L.D. after an encounter with Captain America. Following the HYDRA Uprising, Batroc continued his criminal endeavors, eventually aligning with the LAF in 2024. While attempting to abduct a United States Air Force captain, Batroc was confronted by Falcon.
