Fred Andrews

Fred Andrews is a main character on Riverdale. He is portrayed by Luke Perry.

Fred is a construction business owner and the father of Archie Andrews. He was the former high school boyfriend of Hermione Lodge and the husband of Mary Andrews. That was until Mary left town and moved to Chicago. Their divorce was pending until their son Archie drunk dialed his father into not going through with it. The status between Mary and Fred has yet to be continued on whether they're still together of not. After Mary left Riverdale, it was just him and their son Archie. Having the two of them develop a strong bond of being close together. The father-son bond is quite strong, there's a lot of trust between Archie and his father. As shown during Season 1, Archie would rather leave his mother than abandon his father to be left alone in Riverdale. This was proven when Mary asked Archie to move to Chicago with her and having him refuse her offer.
