The Fossa are the main antagonists in Madagascar. They appear as medium-sized weasel-like creatures and rarely speak, instead usually growling and yelping. They are described by Kowalski as "wild beasts that bite with flesh-shredding, bone-crushing jaws of doom... and that's just if they like you!"
