Forthog Orc-Slayer

On March 3, 2017, Monolith's Executive Producer, Michael David Forgey, who was working on the game, died of cancer. To commemorate the loss of Michael Forgey, Monolith and Warner Bros released a DLC named "Forthog Orc-Slayer". $3.50 of proceeds from the DLC made from any of the 1 U.S. states and internationally (this was perceived as being only in the U.S. as a "factually incorrect tweet" was posted on the Shadow of War twitter page. It was later confirmed that the DLC was only marketed within the U.S. which led to confusion) will go to the Forgey family through December 31, 2017. This is no longer true, due to a controversy on Warner Bros. 'profiting off a dead man'. As of September 27 2017, the DLC will be made free to all who purchased the game and all proceeds refunded to those who purchased.
