Ellen "Mac" MacKenzie

Ellen MacKenzie, also known by her nickname Mac, is a main character of the crime-thriller/police drama television series Stingers, played by Anita Hegh. She served as one of the protagonists (alongside Peter Church and Angie Piper) from season one to season five (1998-2002).
She was a Detective Senior Sergeant (formerly Detective Sergeant) of Victoria Police, and a member of the Undercover unit, serving as the unit's supervisor at the start of the series, before later becoming the head of the unit.
