Boots O'Neal

Melvin "Boots" O'Neal is a character in the Macdonald Hall (formerly Bruno & Boots) series of young adult novels by author Gordon Korman.

Bruno's roommate, and often unwilling right-hand man. He is generally Bruno's voice of reason and stops the pair from going too far. A studious blond boy who enjoys swimming He has a younger brother, Edward, whom he dislikes with a passion.

He is played by Callan Potter in the live-action film adaptation.
