Bigby Wolf is the main character of the comic book series Fables. He is the the renowned Big Bad Wolf of legend, known for tormenting pigs in houses and girls in red hoods, but has since been trying to put those dark days behind him. For centuries, Bigby has acted as Fabletown's sheriff and remained in his magically granted human form, mostly.

He is also the protagonist and playable character of the video game The Wolf Among Us. As the sheriff of Fabletown, he has the duty of protecting the Fables from the mundies as well as themselves. He is based on the Big Bad Wolf that appears in fairy tales such as Little Red Riding Hood, Three Little Pigs, and Peter and the Wolf.
