Ben Ritchie (portrayed by Nicola Farron) - is the main antagonist from the 1986 slasher film, Body Count.

When he was a child, he lived with his mother and his abusive father in their campsite, and one night he saw his mother in the bed with a strange man, and her mother told him that if he said something about that to someone, a shaman who according to legend had haunted the place where the campsite had been built, which was supposedly formerly an old cemetery was going to apear and kill him, and after this, Ben ran to the woods, and there he saw how a mysterious killer dressed as the shaman killed two teenagers, which along with the image of his mother with an unknown man traumatized him.

Years later, after returning from a war, he was picked by a group of teenagers who were on a trip, and he invited them to the campsite of his parents, and they accepted. In the campsite, Ben's family welcomed him warmly, but greeted the teenagers with hostility, even though they ended up letting them stay, but as the days went by, Ben gradually fell into madness, until he reached the point where he began murdering the teenagers he invited, dressed as the shaman, while he was trying to act normally, having fun with them in their activities and spending time with his family, until they was just 3 pearsons remaining and him, and Ben not yet disguised as the shaman, he decided to corner them, and when he was about to disguise himself, he found the corpse of his mother, who had recently been murdered by his father, which brought back memories of his traumatic childhood, and determined to murder the remaining teenagers, he dressed as the shaman and attacked them, but after killing one of them he was shot in the chest by the local sheriff, causing his death.
