Baze Malbus

Baze Malbus was a freelance assassin who was active during the days of the Galactic Empire. He was a devoted protector of his friend and partner Chirrut Îmwe, and a member of the volunteer group of Rebels on the mission to steal the plans for the first Death Star.

Unlike his partner Chirrut Îmwe, Malbus had lost belief in spirituality, including the Force, and instead took a more pragmatic approach to situations, the result of a harsh life on his Imperial-occupied Jedha. Malbus was known to be a crack shot with his heavy repeater cannon.

He is played by Jiang Wen.
