Barren

Barren is a minor character from Valkyrie Profile. He is a member of the same gang of thieves as Lucian, Claire and Rusty in Gerabellum. One day, he imprudently picks the pocket of a nobleman, which incites the government to launch a purge of the slums. Barren is caught and tortured to death, and Lucian subsequently dies during the purge.
