Captain Balahn is a character in Horizon Zero Dawn. He is the commander at the Daytower outpost. Sharing Sun-King Avad's ideals, Balahn believes that peace is strength, and doesn't show prejudice. He is a capable and reliable leader who does not make excuses for his mistakes. He carries himself with a serious demeanor, but is not above lighthearted banter.
