Babaderu

Babaderu or more commonly referred to as Baba, is a character first mention at the Coliseum in Coursair where Ryu learns of a girl participating in the competition against him. Ryu, wondering if this is the girl who got Bow in trouble, must find a way to get into the competition to meet her. Ryu learns that Baba is an annual contestant at the Coliseum and that he is to face the girl, so he decides to go find Baba and ask to take his place. Ryu learns that Baba can be found in TagWoods and goes there to find him.

Baba declines Ryu's offer and then challenges him to fight. Baba loses and accepts defeat,agreeing to Ryu's plan and gives him Baba's Ax as proof that Ryu is Baba, after this Ryu will be named Baba until later.
