Ashiga

Ashiga was a queen of the Ashiga Clan who lived in the time of the Imperial Era. She ruled the Ashiga for generations and was admired for resisting the Galactic Empire on Kijimi. Following the start of the Galactic Civil War, the Queen relented and provided the Empire access to the planet's rhydonium mines in exchange for weapons contracts. Her decision to align with the Empire caused divisions within the ranks of the Ashiga and several members of the clan, including her daughter Krisk Ashiga, formulated plans to overthrow her.
