Arya Dröttning

Arya Dröttning was a teenage elven princess and the primary love interest of Eragon in the Inheritance series. She was the daughter of Islanzadí, queen of the elves in Alagaësia. She worked with the rebel faction called the Varden against King Galbatorix, a traitorous Dragon Rider. When she was transporting the unhatched egg of Saphira in the first book, she was ambushed and captured by Durza, though not before she used magic to send the egg for Eragon to find. She was eventually rescued by Eragon and Saphira, and she helped them in the war against Galbatorix. She eventually became a Dragon Rider when she was bound to the green dragon Firnen.
