Ara was raised on Dolgarak in a hidden temple of seers who could see prophetic images on rocks when it rained within. Above the temple were two great statues, one representing light and the other dark. Ara was determined to cut the head from the dark side to turn the tide of the war against the Sith. Years later, she petitioned this idea to the Jedi Council, who sent padawan Toul with her on her mission.
