The Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant, often called APTWE (pronounced "aptee W.E."), first appears in "The Limit" when Finn wished for him at the center of the magic Labyrinth. Jake reminded Finn that "you have to let it give you control," which Finn did by communicating with it telepathically. At Finn's request, the elephant then wished for Finn's friends to be healed and helped the group escape the maze.
