Alex Shepherd is the protagonist of Silent Hill: Homecoming. Alex comes home to find that his father, and later his brother, Joshua, have disappeared, and his mother has gone into a catatonic state. Alex begins to search for his brother, leading him through his hometown of Shepherd's Glen and ultimately to Silent Hill.
