Description: Born in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania to a professional golfer, Bob Collins and wife Linda. Caroline began golfing a young age. She played her way to the top of the leader board in high school, earning her an athletic scholarship to Point Park University, her choice school, where she also received academic scholarships. Caroline attended Kenney Catholic High School in Hermitage, PA (in the Youngstown-Warren-Boardman, OH/PA Metro Area). She competed in the Miss America Scholarship Organization and was Miss Laurel Highlands 2013. She was 2nd Runner-up at Miss Pennsylvania 2013 where she received educational scholarship funds. Attending Point Park University (Pittsburgh, PA) and graduating in 2015, Caroline enjoyed a full scholarship. During her four years on the women’s golf team, she won several events and made two holes-in-one within two weeks of one another.

In 2019, she graduated with her Master’s Degree in Communication Technology with a Social Media Specialization, also from Point Park University.

Her broadcasting career began in earnest at WJET/ WFXP in Erie Pennsylvania as General Assignment Night Side TV News Reporter / Fill- in Anchor / Producer. That ran from June 2015 to January 2017.

From there, she went to work for the news channel she grew up watching, WFMJ Television in Youngstown, Ohio. She was News Anchor and Reporter from January 2017 to December 2020.

She is currently News Anchor at KSEE24 in Fresno, CA.

Before joining the KSEE24 Team, Caroline co-hosted a nationally televised golf instructional show series, The Swing Clinic, airing on FOX Sports. She has also been the face of national golf companies modeling for Golf Galaxy and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

The now avid golfer is passionate about raising funds and awareness for The Folds of Honor Foundation. The more than $25,000 she has raised for the non-profit provides educational scholarships to the children and spouses of military men and women who have been killed or disabled serving our great nation.

Caroline posted the following to Instagram account on June 21, 2021, explaining a bit about her COVID-19 struggles the prior year, while still in Youngstown.

"After I was hospitalized with covid in August [2020] and diagnosed with pericarditis, I had to stop golfing. The pain in my chest was just unbearable. I was taken off all physical activity for MONTHS. I lost so much strength, power and endurance. Everything I loved was taken from me. My workout classes, golfing, going to the gym, running, etc. A few months ago, I slowly got back into golf and started to gain some strength and muscle back. I stepped up my workouts and focused on doing what I could." She reported breaking an 80 (score of 77) for the first time since her diagnosis. ... (more)
