Description:
Everyone calls him Cappy which is a nickname that came from Captain Chris, his on-air name. Cappy was born and raised in Fort Wayne. He went to St. Jude’s Elementary School and graduated from North Side High School. Cappy comes from a family of 9 kids while 3 of his siblings are in radio broadcasting. His wife Jackie is also in public broadcasting and they have three sons.
With his love for music, Cappy started his radio career in the basement of his own home at the age of 13, hanging around his older brothers’ pirate radio station. While in high school, he got his first part-time job at a real radio station. Through
