Graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio-TV-Cinema, in Izmir.
Was awarded the Sedat Simavi Award for his short "Masal" (Tale) and "Kurban" (Sacrifice), when he was still a student.
Is dusting off old records from his extensive archive, and presenting a playlist made up of long-forgotten, hidden tracks that unleashed pent up thoughts and feelings associated with individual songs and related memories once in a while, at Babylon Club, in Istanbul.
