Cherise and Nadia (originally called Booty Luv), are a British dance group formed in June 2006 via the Hed Kandi label. The group comprises two R&B vocalists, Cherise Roberts and Nadia Shepherd, both of whom were in the original line-up of the successful hip hop band Big Brovaz. To date, they have released one BPI Silver-certified studio solo album as a twosome, and have had five top twenty hits in the UK. In late 2011 following a two year break the duo announced they had changed their name to simply "Cherise & Nadia" and went on a mini tour in Australia to promote material from their debut album. In October 2011 the duo released their first promotional single "This Night", they are set to release their second studio album in 2013.
Boogie 2nite is the debut album by the English duo Booty Luv, released on 17 September 2007 in the United Kingdom by Hed Kandi. The album went straight onto the charts at number eleven, and has since sold over 70,000 copies in the UK, being certified silver by the BPI. It was possible to pre-order signed copies of the album directly from the Ministry of Sound website.
The album contains Booty Luv's four hit singles (two top ten, two top twenty), five cover versions, and seven original tracks co-written by the two members themselves. In addition, there is an interactive component on the album which takes you to a website where you enter your details and can then watch the videos for the singles and a six-minute making-of special on the "Don't Mess with My Man" single.
On 5 August 2008 Boogie 2nite was released in the United States, containing the original twelve tracks, an exclusive bonus remix of "Shine" and a new colour scheme for the cover art (blue and green).
By 2011, Booty Luv had returned from there two year hiatus and with a new name, Cherise & Nadia confirming this on their official website. They performed in 2011 at Nottingham Pride and Cardiff's Pulse Street Party. They have been signed to Pierce Entertainment record label and released promo single entitled "This Night", which was officially released for a limited time to coincide with their Australian Tour in May 2012 via iTunes . The lead single to be released from the forthcoming second studio album "Black Widow" will be released in late 2012. On 8 November 2012 the duo leaked a 30 second clip of the music video with it offically being released on 12 November, the single is set to be released on 20 January 2013.
