Time Travel with New Rules
Posted : 16 years, 11 months ago on 27 May 2007 05:35The intricacy of weaving story, where one person time travels and the other does not could easily become complicated and leave the reader frustrated. But the author was able to overcome this problem, and the story evolves beautifully. I also liked her new perspective on it, and throwing out all the rules you know about time travel (yes, you have already been indoctrinated in a certain way). The relationships are wonderful, rich and believable in surreal surroundings.

The Time Traveler's Wife review
Posted : 18 years, 8 months ago on 6 September 2005 04:02A fantastic book. This is ultimately a love story cloaked in something not quite science fiction. A man who is "chrono-impaired" periodically vanishes from the present, appearing somewhere else in time, past or future. He meets his future wife when she is 6 years old and continues appearing to her as she grows. The intricacy with which the narrative is woven is really impressive. One of my favorite books.
