Sense and Sensibility: Revised Edition (Signet Classic) review
Posted : 12 years, 2 months ago on 12 February 2012 08:17A tale of two sisters, one with a head full of common sense and one with a head full of romantic notions. Both siblings are on a collision course with heartbreak, and their very different reactions make for an engrossing character study. This is one of Austen's darker novels; the status of Victorian women as mere marriageable commodities is clearly illustrated. Frankly a bit more realistic than some of her other books, therefore not quite as fun as Pride and Prejudice.
