Description:
Rice Boy is a webcomic created in 2006 by Evan Dahm[1]. The comic is a surrealistic fantasy epic, dealing with themes of mythology, religion, and good/evil. It is a member of the Koala Wallop webcomics collective.
Due to its fantastical and surrealistic nature, Rice Boy is hard to place in a genre. Some websites list it under 'Religion and Philosophy'[2] due to its somewhat overt themes which relate to those concepts, while others describe it as 'psychedelic' because of its surrealist aspect. It can also be read as a discussion on destiny and determinism. Dahm, however, prefers to describe the comic as 'Fantasy'.

I'm just Rice Boy. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. All I can do is grow plants and watch sunsets and listen to stories.
Rice Boy is a surreal fantasy webcomic by Evan Dahm. It began April 1, 2006, and finished May 14, 2008.
The One Electronic is a mechanical man on a Mission From God: he is searching for the Fulfiller of the Prophecy of Ridrom, and he will not die as long as he continues searching. Unfortunately, T-O-E has been searching for 3,000 years, and every candidate for the position of Fulfiller has been a spectacular failure. When his latest candidate dies, T-O-E finds a perfect replacement: the humble Rice Boy.
The only problem is Rice Boy says he can't do it.
