This book is primarily about Judge Paul Benson and the trial of the Medina victims. Judge Benson was a bastard in the way he conducted the trial of Scott Faul, Yorie Kahl and Dave Broer, the imprisoned victims of the attack on Gordon Kahl by US Marshals on a lonely road nor of Medina, North Dakota on February 13, 1983.
