From the introduction: There have been several German [national] price-guide catalogues which have been of some guidance to German collectors. However, these have been mainly on Imperial German awards, with the Third Reich section in the back. The prices have been merely a guide without taking into account the considerable difference in quality and value of such items as early and late war manufactured awards. As this catalogue is the first of its kind for worldwide collectors, it reflects the prices in the international market of the United States and Europe.
