After logging many hours of demanding physical training, Zero and his classmates finally get to test their piloting skills. Enter Kizna Towry, Zero's new partner, who is charged with maintaining and repairing Zero's Pro-Ings. Kizna is also a bit sensitive, and Zero doesn't help matters when he makes a comment about her feline ears. Can the unlikely duo save mankind in the middle of a dog-eat-dog world?
