Battle on Venus / Three Suns of Amara review

Posted : 12 years, 3 months ago on 27 January 2012 10:46

Battle on Venus is one of the oddest stories I've read. It also seems like it was written for kids too because some of the plot is just to childish to be taken seriously by adults. It's basically a story about remote controlled toys fighting each other for over 100 years, and for no apparent reason too. This all takes place on the surface of Venus where humans can breath the air and there's water to dip into as well. Yeah, even for 1960's science fiction it sounds mental. It's a quick read and I did have some enjoyment out of it though. The other story, The Three Suns of Amara, is kind of a sci-fi love story. It actually wasn't all that bad to be honest. No cheese!
