Bill Rees started in radio and television news career at WKBV in Richmond, Where he was born in June 17th, 1937, Later jobs include WAVI in Dayton, Ohio, WOWO in Fort Wayne, WCFL in Chicago, Illinois, and was a daytime news anchor at WTOL-TV in Toledo, Ohio, and WAST in Albany, New York, and also 17 years at KPLR-TV in St. Louis, Missouri, Where he was an anchor at KPLR's news program NewsWatch back in 1975.
Rees also won Emmy awards for his documentary work, In St. Louis, he taught broadcasting at Forest Park Community College and The Broadcast Center.
