Bert Schneider

Bert Schneider was an American film and television producer best known for producing the documentary "Hearts and Minds" (1974) about American military action in Vietnam. The film won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature and has been released through The Criterion Collection. Schneider was also responsible for several topical films of the late 1960s and early 1970s, including the classic road film "Easy Rider" (1969), also released through The Criterion Collection.
