Austin Peck was born in Hawaii on April 9, 1971; however, he moved to San Francisco, California with his family when he was 4 years-old. The Pecks later moved to Los Angeles when Austin was eight. At the urging of friends and a Los Angelos commercial agent, Peck began modeling and pursuing television and film roles at the age of 16. Two years and several photo shoots later, Peck found himself modeling in Paris, Milan, Morocco, the Virgin Islands and Rome. He subsequently appeared in fashion layouts for numerous publications such as Esquire, GQ, Vogue Homme and British Vogue.
